- Build conscious, trust-based relationships across teams, organizations, communities, and movements.
- Use curiosity and experimentation to align diverse groups working toward justice.
- Strengthen individual and collective skills in self-awareness and self-management,
- Navigate power dynamics and systems.
- Center healing—from systemic oppression and internalized harm—as an essential component of leadership.
The Intro to Coaching Learning Arc
Over the course of eight (8) virtual, 2-hour teleclasses, we focus on skills key to strengthening what’s needed for the changes we seek in ourselves and our world.
- Creating Conscious Relationships: What is needed to create trust and partnership? What allows us to hold an anti-oppression stance in our relationships? What are our expectations?
- Curiosity & Empowering Questions: What questions best support awareness, alignment, and action? How do we lean into curiosity even in times of discomfort or conflict?
- Multiple Ways of Listening & Self Management: How can we more intentionally listen? How do we utilize our intuition? What can we do when we get triggered?
- Values: How do we increase awareness about what’s important to us? How do we support each other to live our lives and make decisions based on honoring our values?
- Coach’s Presence: What attitudes allow us to trust in the resourcefulness, creativity and resiliency of ourselves and others? How do we not default to advice-giving, caretaking or problem-solving?
- Requests, Challenges & Accountability: How do we call someone into bold and resonant action that is aligned with their values? How do we communicate expectations? What are ways to co-create accountability?
- Whole-Self Coaching: How do we ground in all of who we are in service of others? For those we coach, how do we invite all of their identities and experiences as resources?
- Appreciation, Championing & Acknowledgement: How do we provide fierce support to others? What is possible when people feel truly valued and “seen” in all their humanity?
