Preparing for the future in the early days of the new Trump administration
Meant for: Teams looking to align their personal and organizational strategies in a climate of uncertainty.
What does it mean to be prepared for the future? At WithIn, we believe that preparation is as much an internal process as it is a strategic one. The second Trump administration is on course to significantly destabilize and reorient how we work to support vulnerable populations in this country. As leaders, we need to explore what might unfold for ourselves, our organization and our community.
At WithIn, we are supporting leaders and teams to harness their creativity, connections and compassion for the work ahead, no matter what. Our SCENARIO PLANNING CLINIC will look to turn your team’s overwhelm into a set of personal and organizational strategies aimed at the uncertainty of today, and the possibilities ahead. The clinic is intended to:
- Anticipate and prepare possible future scenarios tied to local, statewide, national, and field-specific considerations.
- Reflect how current organizational and personal strategies might shift to accommodate multiple possible futures.
- Identify sources of resilience and sustainable action in ourselves and the organizations we work to fortify.
- Explore and imagine new and different futures for ourselves and the work we do.
The CLINIC is a series of four workshops with optional “office hours” to support participants to go deeper.
How you can make this happen:
- Schedule an intake session with the WithIn Collaborative. Let’s figure out if your goals align well with the focus of the Scenario Planning Clinic
- Plan on an engagement that begins intensively. We recommend that the clinic happen over four sessions over the course of one month. Sessions can be in-person or virtual.
- Cost is dependent on group size and the design work needed prior to the clinic sessions.
